Sociology is an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human behavior and relationships.  It provides students with a comprehensive study of basic concepts, principles, and practices of sociology, while incorporating examples from psychology, world cultures, geography, and anthropology.  Major emphasis is placed on critical thinking and writing in the social sciences.
