Geography focuses on physical, environmental and human geography in accordance to the Muncy School District curriculum and Pennsylvania Common Core Standards. This is a 7th – 8th grade elective. The primary focus of this course will be North America, South America, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. With these topics we will make an in-depth investigation of different cultures, physical, environmental, social, political, and governmental issues. While connecting past events to present issues, forming historical opinions worthwhile research and writing assignments for future careers. Each unit will have a variety of images, PowerPoints, music, literature, writing components, video clips, hybrid learning, and other hands-on materials to enhance your learning experience.
